The PTO-PCG Shanghai will be participating at the 2011 China International Tourism Commodities Fair to be held at the Yiwu International Expo Center on 24-27 June. The event generates 90,000 professional visitors who have interest in outdoor recreation facilities, tourist souvenirs, tour programs, hotel supplies and other related tourism equipment.

The importance of this tourism fair is anchored on the strategic role of Yiwu as the most vibrant market place for shopping with its network of more than 100,000 manufacturing companies,   and daily customer flow of 200,000 to its Yiwu International Trade Mart.

The PTO team together with partner travel agents from Shanghai will be on hand to network with the consumers and local travel agents in Yiwu to push summer tour programs to the Philippines.

With high-speed/fast trains connecting Yiwu and Shanghai, it is now very convenient for residents from Zhejiang and Jiangsu to travel to the Philippines via the Pudong Airport. Apart from the new direct flight programs to Cebu, Boracay, and Clark, there are also 2x-daily regular flights to Manila on Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.
