Vote for Puerto Princesa Underground River

The Philippine Tourism Office (PTO) -Shanghai enjoins everyone to support its campaign for the Puerto Princesa Underground River as one of the "World's New 7 Wonders of Nature."

The UNESCO-declared heritage site of Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan is the longest navigable underground river in the world, and the lone entry of the Philippines in the prestigious search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

The global survey is on its last stage before the results are announced in November 2011.
The inclusion of the Puerto Underground River in the elite list is envisioned to promote the international competitiveness of the country's myriad eco-tourism sites, and create opportunities to showcase the said underground river as a site for scientific study as well as for general appreciation of nature and unique bio-diversity found in the Province of Palawan.
